Missions

 

The Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) Research Center - Maison de la Recherche en sciences humaines et sociales - is at the heart of HSS development at CY Cergy Paris University, in order to:

  • Strengthen synergies and the development of  collectives through an interdisciplinary approach;
  • Deploy resources to promote and disseminate HSS research, aiming for both regional and international impact: towards a boom in science and society activities;
  • Intensify the means of supporting projects;
  • Stimulate entrepreneurship in the humanities and social sciences via CY Transfer;
  • Develop research activities in the field of digital humanities via the Institute for Digital Humanities (IDHN);
  • Consolidate the momentum for internationalization around the Eutopia network.
